Extended Wide Table
The Janome JW 8100 sewing machine comes with an extra-wide table, which provides users with additional space and support ideal for quilts and bigger projects. It has a plain white casing with a digital display screen on the right-hand side, allowing the changing of stitches and setting adjustments to be simple and speedy. The area around the needle and presser foot is well-lit, providing great vision when sewing and making fiddly tasks easy.
The table attachment of wide breadth offers extra support, preventing the fabric from being stretched and pulled while sewing large projects. With its solid construction and easy-to-use features, this machine is an ideal choice for novices as well as experienced sewists who want a capable and trustworthy companion for sewing.

- The presser foot is pressed down hard onto the presser foot holder and can be replaced depending on the stitch or type of fabric.

Smooth Sewing Experience & User-Friendly Design
The easy-to-use computerized sewing machine has 100 built-in stitches and 7 one-step buttonholes. It can easily handle a range of different projects. The backlit LCD makes stitch selection easy, with the start/stop button and speed adjustment slider making operation easy without a foot pedal. The large worktable gives extra space which makes quilting and bigger projects a breeze.
Automation & Handy Features
As ingenious as a sewing machine can be, the Janome JW8100 sewing machine is designed for efficiency and precision. The needle threader is built-in, removing the hassle of manual threading, and the stitch lock button ensures strong seams. The drop feed allows free-motion quilting and darning, and the 7-piece feed dog system keeps the fabric from shifting to create even sewing. The free-arm design enables professional stitching of small objects such as cuffs and sleeves.
Considerations & Potential Drawbacks
In addition to its superior characteristics, the Janome JW 8100 has some drawbacks as well. Due to its lightness, it’s not designed for heavy-duty sewing, particularly on thick fabrics. Some parts are made of plastic, such as the extension table, which may not be as tough as metal ones. However, for beginners and intermediate sewists requiring a functional and long-lasting machine, the Janome JW8100 sewing machine is a great choice.

Customer Review
An excellent sewing machine!!!
This is truly an exceptional quality sewing machine! I waited 2 weeks to write this review while working on a project made of different types of denim. The Janome JW8100 sewing machine performs flawlessly, the stitches are very even, with no tangles, and no problems. I also tried a few embroidery stitches and they came out perfect as well. I LOVE the self-threading feature!
It speeds up my work immensely! It used to take me sometimes a good 5 minutes if not more to thread a machine! Now it’s a question of just a few seconds. I LOVE the pin cushion! I always used to chase my pins all over the floor – not anymore. The operation of the Janome JW8100 sewing machine is very simple and quick, no time spent on learning is necessary, it’s all very simple and logical.
I like seeing the different types of stitches in front of me too, it helps my creativity. I also tried the automatic button opening maker – that’s like a miracle! There is nothing bad I could point out about this sewing machine, it is of excellent quality, great precision, and a very good value for the money. You can feel some experienced seamstress was working with the engineers on this machine.
The only thing I may change in the future is the light bulb. It’s not dim, but I like the light to be very bright (some people don’t like it glaring too much). I definitely recommend this sewing machine to any seamstress of any level of experience. Excellent product!
