Brother CP100X Review
Performance & Stitching Quality
It is an electronic sewing machine designed to provide versatility and accuracy. It comes with 100 built-in stitches, utility as well as decorative, that can be used for a variety of sewing projects. The machine comes with 8 one-step buttonholes to achieve professional-looking results. The maximum stitch width of 7 mm and stitch length of 5 mm are variable in terms of setting the stitch. Also, the Brother CP100X sewing machine’s stable needle bar provides stability, which implies stitches are more even. It is a suitable choice for quilting, sewing garments, and home furnishings.
Quality, Design, & Build
Weighing about 10 pounds, the Brother CP 100X sewing machine is durable yet lightweight with a nice balance between strength and portability. Its aluminum inner frame contributes to stability, and this minimizes vibrations during high-speed stitching. It comes with an automatic needle threader, a drop feed system for free motion sewing, and an increased workspace with an extension table, which makes it perfect for big projects. It has a speed control slider and start/stop button and can be used effortlessly without a foot pedal.
Limitations & Things to Consider
Although the Brother CP100X Sewing Machine is loaded with features, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Like most lightweight sewing machines, it will vibrate a bit at high speeds when sewing heavy material. Additionally, thread tension may require manual adjustment on certain fabrics. While it does have an LED-lit work surface, the light may not be intense enough in extremely dark environments.
In general, the Brother CP 100X is a great option for beginners and intermediate sewers with ease of use, versatility, and reliability.

Customer Review
Impressive sewing machine for the cost.
The Brother CP100X sewing machine arrived in perfect condition. The setup was fast and easy. There is a QR code on the front of the machine that will take you directly to short YouTube videos to show how to perform various tasks like threading the machine. The needle threader works perfectly every time.
The cover slips easily over the machine and performs well as a dust cover. My wife has another model that she loves, but it’s too heavy for her to take to her sewing group meetings. This machine is less than half the weight and she can easily carry it. It’s well equipped with 100 stitches pre-programmed and the feet to accommodate them. Selecting and modifying these stitches is easy and intuitive. Very nice machine.
